| Jack is an exceptional bird dog and is John's best hunting companion. At 2 years of age he is steady to flush, wing, and shot. It has been said of Jack that he "hunts and looks like a Brittany should. " Everything about Jack testifies that we are meeting the goals of our breeding program. Jack is joyful whether involved in serious hunting with John or just hanging out in the house with Ann. | Molly looks like a beautiful prima dona in the field and is a loving family pet at home. Molly Rose is highly intelligent, hunts with style and grace, and thinks that the whole world is in love with her. She is petite, lovable, and fun loving but also a serious hunting dog who gets down to business when there are birds around. Molly comes from the well known Renegade lines on her mother's side. The pups that Molly have produced have proven to be highly intelligent, versatile and active as Brittanys should be, of nice size and of good conformation. Molly is clearly feminine in her appearance, and one of her favorite things to do (besides hunting) is to be with our grandchildren. She is on the small side of the standard. | We are so pleased with Wish and cannot say enough good about her. Wish is the result of several generations of selective Birch Spring NAVHDA breeding , comes from strong, grouse and waterfowl Brittanys possessing many NAVHDA titles and breeder awards and Hunter titles. Although deeply affectionate, Wish hunts with a raw, natural instinct the way a Brittany should. She hunts fast but always within gun range. Regardless of the sire of her pup, she consistenly produces Brittanys that are true to type and that exhibit a keep hunting desire and ability at a very young age. Several of her pups are doing well in field trials and hunt tests and they ALL do well as family hunting companions. Personally, we enjoy hunting woodcock and pheasant with Wish. She is well behaved in the house and gets along well with children. Dogs in her background include Ch. | Call name "Treasure" because of the Scripture that says "Where your heart is, there will be your treasure..." From birth, Treasure has been just that - a 'Treasure'. In 2006/2007 she and Ann 'graduated' from Puppy Kindergarten and Level One Obedience Classes, and attended breed handling classes. She has also been introduced her to very basic field training with John and Ann. Treasure is like a speeding bullet while "hunting" and deliberately seeks and searches out potential bird cover instinctively, and is a natural retriever like her mother. She is maturing into a beautiful girl and brings a lot of enjoyment because of her sweet personality and affectionate ways. Treasure loves children and gets along well with dogs of all ages. Treasure has done exceptionally well in the ring this summer (2007) with Best Puppy in Sweeps, Best Opposite, First in Reg. Class, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed, Best Bred By Exhibitor, and has won her first four show points - the first ones ever for J & A's Brittany! We're proud! . | Chrissy is a classy, stunning girl who is exceptionally affectionate. She hunts close in the Maine woods and is quite birdy. Carrying herself proudly and with style, She has excellent movement and her pedigree speaks for itself. Chris is show pointed including a 5 point reserve major under Dr. Hal Engel, DVM, handled under her prior owner, Diane Requet). | Boomer is the outstanding pet of our daughter's family. He testifies of the compatibility of a Brittany and very young children. Raised with our daughter and husband, from a puppy and throughout each pregnancy, from their birth now to age 4, Boomer has always been gentle and respectful with his human family. He is perfect in conformation and his hunting style is much like his mothers. A liver and white Brittany, iIf anyone has questions about children and Brits, we refer them to our daughter. Boomer is a testimony of one of our greatest achievements, the fine example of what a Brittany should always be beyond hunting and show abilities - a valued part of the family! | Not part of our Breeding program, but part of our family, Rose is full sister to Boomer (above). Rosie loves her role of surrogate big sister to all J&A pups. Rose is appropriately named EVER READY because she simply 'is' . Very serious, highly intelliegent Rose totally slams into a point at first scent of upland game. Agile and quick, Rose loves to view her "kingdom" from the highest available surface. As serious as Rosie is, she can also be a real 'stand up comedien' as far as dogs go. The head of our meet and greet 'program' Rosebud is a very important part of all things Brittany for sure. |

| To know this handsome young Brittany male is to understand why his sire (Timber) was so special. In his own right however, "Scooby" is proving to be another exceptional Brittany. As a young pup in the yard, he was interested in one thing only - birds. From a very young age, he and his littermates projected an intense hunting style and ability. At 4 months of age, Scooby naturally honored other dogs. Last fall Ann entered this young pup in a local "Match" where he did very well. Like all of the pups that Wish produces, he is destined to be an outstanding gundog for he certainly comes from well proven gundog lines. As a matter of heart though, there is a whole lot more to this Brittany than meets the eye and he has always communicated just as deeply as his father once was able to do.
