1. Everyone starts on the "same page," literally by completing and submitting our "For Serious Inquiries" only questionnairre. There is a link provided on this page. Your questionairre will be evaluated and reviewed by John and Ann Short. We do try to respond to everyone and will keep your name on file if we feel you are a good match for one of our pups!
2. You will be expected to provide references. Acceptable references include your Veterinarian, a dog trainer, friends or acquaintances in clubs (breed, sporting, etc.), recommendation from a prior 'reputable' breeder you have bought a dog from in the past, neighbor, etc.
3. A packet including our puppy reservation and warranty policies, prices, current breeding program etc will be sent to you once we review your questionairre as well as a copy of our purchase agreement.
4. We do require at least one personal visit here, to meet us and to interact with our canine crew (always fun). Yes, you will be interviewed for a puppy! But please know it works both ways and come with your own list of questions for us!
5. When you inquire about our Brittanys, we automatically add you to our email mailing list. Please let us know if you do not wish to be included on this.
6. There are times when we may ask to visit you to get an idea of where our pup will live. It's so important to us and we take the welfare of our Brittanys very seriously, not all environments are suitable for this breed, even with the most well intentioned and loving homes. It's nothing personal, its for the love of the dog! |
